ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Hi there. I began this project because I personally needed a site like this. As you will find out in the blog, I became aware of how much had changed in my spirit, largely due to my interaction with technology over the last several years, and I wanted a space/place to help me hit the reset button on my aim in life. In psychology, TELOS means ultimate aim or goal for life. The aim or TELOS explored here is based on the life and teachings of Jesus. The ethic and way of life that he modeled is stunning, challenging, and nothing short of transformational for individuals and systems which is why I have chosen to have my aim aligned with his. If you are cautious about anything religious, I get it. Religion has been horribly misused and you're wise to think critically about it. Take a look around and see how I've zeroed in on wisdom, generous contribution, & love as the aim for life and discern if this TELOS fits for you.

To become people who live wisdom, generously contribute to the common good, and embody love. Most people I meet want to live some version of this ultimate aim or TELOS.

Why is this the goal?

This TELOS of wisdom, generous contribution, and love provides meaning and a focus for people to invest their life into something that will benefit the world. I come from a tradition that believes humanity was designed to co-labor with God in the care of this world. I believe that wisely contributing and kindly loving others can help renew this world.

How does TELOS & today help?

This site provides easy to access resources that facilitate spiritual formation so we evolve into wise humans who generously contribute in ways that benefit others and choose to love in everyday life. This evolution requires intentional investment and conscious choice. Here you will find mindful use of technology to support this journey of transformation.
